Harry Harrison Wood was born February 9, 1896 in Charleston. He was a
lifelong resident of the Kanawha Valley and a retired farmer. He was a member
of Spring Hill Church of Christ and was a life member of the DAV and VFW. He
was an Army veteran of World War I. He was assigned to the 317th Infantry,
and was wounded while fighting on the Verdun Front with the American
Expeditionary Forces in France in 1918.
He married Julia Elizabeth (Hester). He died on Saturday, December 30, 1989
in the Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston, West Virginia. Harry Harrison
WOOD and Julia Elizabeth (Hester) were married. Julia
Elizabeth (Hester) died on 11 Sep 1974. Harry Harrison WOOD and
Julia Elizabeth (Hester) had the following children:
